The Swing Caterpillar Motor consists of a sturdy steel casing, in which several pairs of Novikov gearing gears are compactly arranged, allowing the transfer of loads significantly exceeding the permissible values for involuntary engagement. On the low-speed shaft, on the splines, the output gear is attached, which is included in the open gearing with a gear ring of the turntable of the Caterpillar Heavy Equipment.
A large cogwheel is mounted on the fixed part of the Caterpillar platform. The Caterpillar rotation reducer is installed in such a way that the teeth of the output shaft of the Caterpillar rotary reducer engage the cogwheel of the Caterpillar equipment. When the Caterpillar swing motor shaft rotates, the equipment is rotated relative to the frame.
